Doucette’s Boat Building is family owned and operated serving the eastern seaboard and beyond with our custom designed 45 foot fiberglass boats. The Doucette Commercial Vessel is constructed with constructed with an isothalic gel coat, vinyl ester resin and BTI higher strength mat/ woven combination. A one-piece mold is glassed to the wheelhouse giving it extra strength and also providing a place for running and hiding wires. The 6' x 9' engine room compartment is molded to the hull giving it an overall thickness of 1 ¾" or greater. The floors are made of solid fiberglass ranging from 5/8" to ¾" thick. The twin 250 gallon fuel tanks are mounted under the floor and are built with vinyl ester fuel resin. All of this combined with the crisscross bulkhead design gives the commercial vessel its strength and durability.
